Hey y'all! Today I decided to focus on rerecording all of the scenes that include the fake blood. The prior day that I recorded, I used lotion and food color for this scene. However, once I looked at the clips with the fake blood in it, I did not like how 'fake' the fake blood actually looked. I mainly did not like the way that this fake blood did not as liquidly as it should have. For this reason, I decided to just put the red food coloring on my hand without mixing it with anything else. I noticed how it looked a lot better than mixing it with lotion. After the fake blood was settled, I asked my sister to start recording all of these scenes over again. My sister already reprinted out all of the pictures that I had completely damaged during the scene. She recorded all of these different types of close-ups all over again and it looked so much better. The only bad part about using the food coloring was that it dried pretty quickly and it was hard to get off my hand. For this

Hey y'all! Today I decided continue the filming process. Although, I wanted to focus on recording all of the inside scenes today, I had to rerecord the first scene from other day that include the close up of the shovel and my black shoes. For this reason, I waited for it to get dark again and had my sister come outside with me again to record this scene with my all black adidas on. Additionally, I decided to rerecord some more scenes since most of the scenes showed the shoes that I did not like. Once, I was done recording all of the scenes that had the old black shoes in it, I decided to go back inside. Once I went inside, I set up my desk area to start filming all the inside scenes. The inside scenes show all of the clips of the scrapbook and pictures. I started by printing out copies of the pictures since I did not want to ruin the actual pictures. I did not have access to color ink for all of the pictures, so some of the pictures came out in black and white ink. After I was fini

                     Hey y'all! Today I decided to start the editing process. The editing process is my favorite part which is why I was extremely excited to start it. I first decided to put all of clips that I recorded onto one project. Once I got all of the clips that I recorded on this project, I decided to start messing with different fonts. Originally, I was set with the font Zighead and a cream color with a glow on it. Additionally, I wanted my font to be in the size 30 for all of the titles in this final. However, as I kept playing around with this font, I started to not like it as much. For this reason, I started changing the font to different ones and to see what I actually like. I decided to to keep the same size for the actual title of the final task and color. However, I changed the font to the 'Honest' font on CapCut. After I finalized all of the different aspects of picking the perfect font for my final task, I started watching the different clips that was rec

Hey y'all! Today I will be continuing with my filming process. I started today by waiting for it to become dark outside after I came home from my dance practice. The light outside my home was as dark as I needed it to be by 8:00pm and that's when I went outside. I went outside in my all black outfit, with my grey duffel bag, big shovel and my storyboard pages. I reminded my mom earlier and she came outside a few minutes after I did. I started by setting up my camera for the first shot which is supposed to capture a close up of a shovel in the grass. It was hard to record this scene since I needed the shovel to stand up so I asked my sister to come outside and help me film. My sister started by rerecording this closeup and after a wide shot of the grassy area outside of the house. Hey y'all! Today I decided to focus on getting all of the different aspects of my film together. I started with confirming the people that will be in my film. Originally, I wanted a friend to play the main character but due to other circumstances she can not. For this reason, I think it will be easier for myself to play the main character to ensure that I will have a main character. After that step, I decided to ask my sister If I could use her pictures in place of the second character in this film. Once my sister agreed, I started making one of the props that I will be using for this film: a scrapbook. Making the scrapbook was fairly easy since I only needed a few pictures and I have extra scrapbooks lying around so I did not have to buy anything. Next, it was time to collect the rest of my props and pick out the costumes for this film. My grandma loves to garden so I was able to find a big shovel and other garden tools in the shed.
