Filming Blog: (recording all of the outside scenes)

Hey y'all! Today I will be continuing with my filming process. I started today by waiting for it to become dark outside after I came home from my dance practice. The light outside my home was as dark as I needed it to be by 8:00pm and that's when I went outside. I went outside in my all black outfit, with my grey duffel bag, big shovel and my storyboard pages. I reminded my mom earlier and she came outside a few minutes after I did. I started by setting up my camera for the first shot which is supposed to capture a close up of a shovel in the grass. It was hard to record this scene since I needed the shovel to stand up so I asked my sister to come outside and help me film. My sister started by rerecording this closeup and after a wide shot of the grassy area outside of the house. Next my sister recorded a low angle of me (the main character) putting the shovel and duffel bag into the truck of a car. The car that I am using in this video is my mothers and she was there in the car during some scenes since I only have my permit at the moment. Once we got into the car, my sister recorded some low angles of the tire moving while I drove off. Additionally, my sister recorded some over the shoulder shots. Finally, I asked my sister to record some random close-ups while I was driving in the car. Once I felt okay with most of these shots, I got outside of the car to record some more shots. I recorded some different angles of the truck of the car with the duffel bag and shovel. I decided to ask my sister to record one more high angle of myself walking through the grassy angle. Now that I am done recording for today, I decided that tomorrow I will start the editing process. I can not wait to start the editing process. Furthermore, that is it for today and I hope you enjoyed the first filming process. That's all for today!
