Editing Blog: (testing out editing system)

                    


Hey y'all! Today I decided to start the editing process. The editing process is my favorite part which is why I was extremely excited to start it. I first decided to put all of clips that I recorded onto one project. Once I got all of the clips that I recorded on this project, I decided to start messing with different fonts. Originally, I was set with the font Zighead and a cream color with a glow on it. Additionally, I wanted my font to be in the size 30 for all of the titles in this final. However, as I kept playing around with this font, I started to not like it as much. For this reason, I started changing the font to different ones and to see what I actually like. I decided to to keep the same size for the actual title of the final task and color. However, I changed the font to the 'Honest' font on CapCut. After I finalized all of the different aspects of picking the perfect font for my final task, I started watching the different clips that was recorded. I noticed while watching all of these different clips that the shoes that I was wearing, which were black crocs did not fit the vibe of this final task that I was trying to convey to the audience. These crocs did not match what I wanted since there were butterflies on my crocs. For this reason, I decided that I am going to record this scene again with different shoes on that match what I am looking for. Just to make sure I have a shoe that matches what I am looking for, I decided to look around my house for all black shoe. I ended finding all black adidas and they look like there going to work perfectly for this final task video.  Now that I am done editing for today, I decided that tomorrow I will start the recording some more.   Hey y'all! I have more information about my production process. Today the filming process was a lot harder than I thought. I was not able to record at one of the clubs that I attended but that was it. Now, my vision of revealing my busy life is starting to become more difficult than I imagined. However, I am going to keep advancing with my idea. My main goal for this production day was to take some relatable pictures for my commercial. First, I decided to take some pictures with my siblings. I snapped pictures with my siblings separately and together at a wide shot. The wide shot is a type of camera shot that completely shows a character or a group of characters within the frame. I decided to take wide and close up shots with my friends and other activities that I attended. I am not hundred percent certain on using all of these shots and pictures in my actual commercial.   Hey y'all! Today I have decided to start my production process. I started planning out where and who I wanted to film with. Prior too, I knew that I wanted to film with my siblings and friends. My main focus was the type of angles and shots that I would record. During my planning and researching time, I created  some ideas to match my concept for this commercial. This commercial is supposed to display the chaotic perspective that I have of my life. Similar to a day in my life video. Which is why, I decided to record a tracking shot. The tracking shot follows a subject through a scene and reveals the scenery. One of the ideas that I decided to film, was myself running to class because I do not want to be tardy. I asked one of my friends to record me running or quickly walking to class. This scene was kind of hard to record since I actually did not want to be late to class.
