Planning Blog: More Information

 





Hey y'all! Today I will be explaining the rest of my planning for my final task. I will be discussing the location that I want to use, the actors and actresses, health regulations and the schedule that I will follow to complete my final task. 

1. The location that I am using to film is my home and in the drive way/road outside of my home.


2. I have asked some of my friends and family to help participate (acting) in creating this film, their names and roles are below:

Actors

  • Aliyah Summers will be played by Ginou Charles; This is the main character who is found unconscious in the beginning
  • Miyah will be played by Elie Chambers; the best friend of the main character who may be the enemy
  • Police Officer (1) will be played by Allen Ross Jr.
  • Police Officer (2) will be played by Kayla Tracey
  • Chris will be played by Elijah Jean-Phillipe; Tinder date

3. I plan to have my parents there while I am filming every shot. This ensures that all of the actors, actresses and myself are safe during the filming process. Also, we have access to a phone to be able to call anyone if needed. If my actors and actress's need to call their parents they will be able to. Most of the scenes will be recorded during the morning time so everyone will be able to see clearly. All of the scenes with the knife will have a parent supervising and when we are not filming the parent will be the one holding the prop at all times. All of the blood that will be seen, will be fake blood. All parents on the set will have access to a first-aid-kit and will be to help anyone if they get hurt. However, I will make sure no one will be getting hurt during anytime of my final task filming.

4. The schedule that I plan to follow is to start filming through February 1st- 14th. Just in case I do not finish my filming process, I will spend one more week after that being able to record extra clips or scenes that I may need. After, I will begin editing February 22nd- March 5th. I will edit on CapCut and hopefully be finished around March 5th.

5. If my location does not go as plan then I could always ask a friend or family to record scenes in their home. If so of my actors drop and can not participate than I will fill in if it is a female character but for my boys I will just ask my male cousins. If my parents can not stay and supervise, I will ask my aunts or uncles. If that does not work, than I will ask my actors and actresses if their parents can stay and watch. Lastly, for my schedule I added in a week of free time that way if anything needs to fix or if everything needs to change I will have time to do it. Well, that is it for today!

  Hey y'all! I have more information about my production process. Today the filming process was a lot harder than I thought. I was not able to record at one of the clubs that I attended but that was it. Now, my vision of revealing my busy life is starting to become more difficult than I imagined. However, I am going to keep advancing with my idea. My main goal for this production day was to take some relatable pictures for my commercial. First, I decided to take some pictures with my siblings. I snapped pictures with my siblings separately and together at a wide shot. The wide shot is a type of camera shot that completely shows a character or a group of characters within the frame.   Hey y'all! Today I have decided to start my production process. I started planning out where and who I wanted to film with. Prior too, I knew that I wanted to film with my siblings and friends. My main focus was the type of angles and shots that I would record. During my planning and researching time, I created  some ideas to match my concept for this commercial. This commercial is supposed to display the chaotic perspective that I have of my life. Similar to a day in my life video. Which is why, I decided to record a tracking shot. The tracking shot follows a subject through a scene and reveals the scenery. One of the ideas that I decided to film, was myself running to class because I do not want to be tardy.
