Hey y'all! Today I will be explaining the structure of my "Me, Myself and I" group. I decided for my final task that I will be working by myself. Doing group work use to be a struggle and something I hated to do in my earlier years of high school. My biggest struggle was overcoming my social anxiety. Presenting, group assignments and greeting people tend to trigger my anxiety. This is why I tried to get out of group work whenever I could. I had to learn how to work with all types of people and people with different work ethics. I have worked with helpful, dominant, and creative members. However, I have worked with rude, lazy, and close-minded members. Over time, I realized that working by myself is a lot easier and takes up less time. Working with group members, I would want everyone to feel included and heard. For this reason, I feel it can take a lot of time away from actually completing the assignment. Another reason I want to work alone is because either I would have to work with people that I don't know as well or close friends. Working with close friends is something I have never had good experiences with. Especially since they tend to get comfortable and not take the assignment as seriously as they should. Furthermore, I feel If I am going to end up doing the entire project, why not work alone. Finally, I feel either way could bring problems. In result, I think working by myself makes this extremely important project easier to do. There is a lot of steps and parts with this final task but I am ready for it. Well that is it for today!
