Hey y'all! Today I started the production process for my music video. I knew that I needed some extra girls in my video based off the storyboard that I created. The first few scenes that I wanted to record preferably started in a local park. I decided to text some friends from church and my dance team to see who could be in it. A couple of girls agreed but it was hard to come up with dates and times that were comfortable enough for everyone. For this reason, I needed to come up with some new accessible ideas and people. I decided for choreography reasons to only have myself dancing. Now, I just wanted to use the the extra people for other aspects of my music video. Once I figured that out, I realized that if the people that I originally wanted could flake out on me, so can the original setting. This is why I went to the local park that I wanted to record and scoped out the scene. All of the areas of the park seem pretty empty during school hours and more lively on the weekends. I knew for choreography reasons it is best to record right after school since there are less people. Additionally, for scenery reasons it is best to record on the weekends since there is more going on. I started recording some long shots and wide shots of the basketball court. I decided to practice filming at this location to see where is the best spots to record. I took some close-up's and wide shots. I recorded from high, low and eye level angles at the basketball court. I really do not like all of these shots because of the lighting. I know tomorrow that I will probably try to rerecord. Right now I do not know what level I want the audience to see but I will see what looks better while editing the clips together. I hope you enjoyed the process because that is it for today!

Bye, Pookiees!
