Planning Blog

Hey y'all! Today I am starting the next step for this music video process. Which is the planning phase for my music video. Previously, I stated the song that I will use for my music video is, "On My Mama" by Victoria Monet. As of now, I still want this to be my song choice for my music video. The props that I want to test out and include in my video are fake cash, flags, hats, sunglasses or bags. I am not hundred percent sure on using all of these props since I would like to test them out first. I have decided for my video I will like it to be recorded mainly in a place that has a lot space and free environment. I would most likely record my video at a park, basketball court or beach. I know with producing this music video I will have to create a practicable schedule. Being that, I want to include other people in my music videos and my video will be recorded outside. Which means that I will have to record during the day time on the weekend for the natural sunlight. For as of right now, I know the best days to record will be on Saturdays and Sundays. However, If I do not want to use this song in the future or the entire concept for the video, I have a backup plan. My backup plan requires using the song, "Fly girls" by FLO, featuring Missy Elliott. I still will include choreography but I will not need background dancers. Lastly, while I was doing my research I notice that each song that I observed had multiple costume changes. For this reason, I want my music video to have multiple costume changes as well. For my first idea, I would want a more street style for my costumes and maybe one girly costume. For my backup plan, I would want more girly costumes for this video because of the song's message. Overall, I want my music video to be based on choreography and make other people want to dance when they watch this video. Just creating my plan is getting me so excited for the outcome of my music video. I hope your excited too! Well, that is it for today.

Bye, Pookieees!
