Hey y’all! Figuring out what was supposed to be in my commercial was difficult. I know it's supposed to be easy since it's about myself, however it was a challenge. I want my commercial to have a theme that corresponds with my chaotic life. Which is why I made a list of ideas, crossed some out and finally narrowed it down. For my commercial, I want it to show all of the things that I do regularly throughout my life. I started researching on how some companies record their commercials. I searched and watched examples of how they record, what different angles they include, movements and background sounds. One of the commercials that I watched was from the Mountain Dew company. My favorite aspects of this commercial are the suspenseful music and the different shots used. In the commercial that I watched, they included different angles, a story plot to keep the audience interested, and a tracking shot. For my commercial, I know I want to include a tracking shot to show the action in my life and give off a busy affect for the audience. Also, I want to include a close-up shot, point of view shot and an over the shoulder shot. I feel like having different shots in your media allows the audience to see different perspectives and affect them in different ways. During the editing process, I do want to play around with different editing techniques. I want to try to include a split screen, fade in and out, and a dissolve. Now in my commercial, I want it to have more upbeat and fast paced music. Hopefully, that way the audience will feel the chaotic experience that I am trying to convey. I do not want to have any dialogue, but I might include it. I will be the main focus of the commercial; Although I want my commercial to include my friends, family, and other people I interact with on a daily.  For the setting, I know I want to record in all of the places that I attend regularly like school, church, dance practice, and volunteer places. I hope that you guys are excited because I cannot wait to start recording!
